A York skyline LEGO set. The stunning City of York is now available as a LEGO skyline model. The model includes:
- the York Minster
- Clifford's Tower
- City Walls
- the Shambles
- Micklegate Bar
- Stephenson's Rocket from the National Railway Museum
- a little nod to the Yorvik Viking Centre!
As with many of my skyline architecture models the challenge for York was what to include and what to leave out. I know there is plenty more I could have added from this beautiful city just eighty miles from where I'm based in North Shields.
This York LEGO skyline set has 508 pieces and measures 34x6cm. As with all of my Limited Edition boxed sets it comes with all the parts including special printed title piece and printed booklet. The box will be numbered and signed.
Designed in 2021 this forms part of a range of Northern city skylines that I have produced, including Durham, Manchester, Newcastle Gateshead and Blackpool. Following the style of the official skyline sets that LEGO themselves produce, my aim here is to capture some of the UK's finest cities in LEGO that we are unlikely to see as an official set.
