A Newcastle Gateshead skyline LEGO set! This set-with-instructions was designed as part of my Northern landmarks series of LEGO kits. I have lived in both Newcastle and Gateshead, and so this was an obvious place to start with this range of models. The area has a phenomenal amount of great buildings and bridges - the struggle here was what to include and what to leave out!

The set includes

• The Gateshead Millennium Bridge
• The BALTIC
• The Angel of the North,
• The Sage Gateshead,
• A Tyne and Wear Metro train,
• St James' Park,
• Grey's Monument,
• The Tyne Bridge and
• The Swing Bridge.

Both the Millennium Bridge and the Swing Bridge can be moved like their real counterparts.

The set is based on the style of the official LEGO skyline sets, though I suspect an official one will never happen.

The model contains 292 piece and measures 25cm wide.
